Great Pyramids of Giza

The Great Sphinx of Giza
A limestone statue with layers of limestone blocks is the oldest monumental sculpture in ancient Egypt and the most recognizable statue in the world. It was built in 258-2532 BC.
Sakkara
Known as the ancient burial ground of Egyptian kings and royals. Also, the oldest stone building Complex is known in history. Remained an important complex for non-royal burials and cult ceremonies for 3,000 years well over into Ptolemaic and Roman times. Located in Memphis, which was once the capital of Egypt.
Saqqara Step Pyramid

Pyramid of Djoser

Kom Ombo Temple
A temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris was erected in an area of great importance in ancient Egypt and a prime location along the Nile. Stroll through the temple colonnades, gazing at scenes of pharaonic propaganda and capture the ambiance of ancient history.
Edfu Temple
One of the best preserve shrines of all of Egypt was built during the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BC. Construction consisted of a pillared hall, two traverse halls, and a bark sanctuary surrounded by chapels. The temple is dedicated to Horus and Hathor of Demala and hosts great festivals and pilgrimages.
Colossi of Memnon
Two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in the 18th dynasty. It serves as a guard to the entrance to Amenhotep's Memorial Temple. Memnon is a hero of the Trojan War and the King of Ethiopia. Unfortunately, the statue was destroyed by an earthquake at the time.
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Pharaoh Hatshepsut built a mortuary temple in Upper Egypt during the 18th dynasty. Queen Hatshepsut is a female King of Egypt who had a peaceful reign using trade rather than war as a foreign policy.
Valley of the Kings
Home of the 63 tombs of major royal figures and privileged nobles. Tombs are highly decorated from scenes of Egyptian mythology. Exploration, excavations, and preservation continue in the valley, and a new tourist center was recently built.
